Video: 2012 Nissan GT-R launch control system

We already know the new 2012 Nissan GT-R is one epic piece of machinery, especially as it is able to sprint from 0-100km/h in just three seconds flat. We also saw a recent video that outlined the almost overwhelming attention to detail of the new car, and were informed of the new launch control system.

Nissan has recently being showing off the new launch control system to a bunch of industry experts and the demonstration has now been put up onto YouTube.

Take a look below. You'll see the Nissan rev up while the car's computer holds it at around 4000rpm (for optimum torque), then the driver simply releases his foot from the brake and the car takes off.

Count to three and it's already doing 100km/h. Simply remarkable.
