Holden offers 100 more jobs at Elizabeth plant

It's always great to see the Australian car industry growing, even better when the Australian car making industry grows. The latest signs of such success come from Holden as it has announced 100 more jobs are now on offer at the production plant in Elizabeth, South Australia.

Holden already announced last November that the company was hiring 165 staff, an additional 100 can only be a good thing. A majority of these positions will be a fixed 12-month contract, with the chance to gain permanent employment with Holden upon completion of the contract.

Martyn Cray, Holden Executive Director of Manufacturing, announced,

"Commodore was recently crowned Australia’s favourite car for the fifteenth consecutive year and plans are well underway for our Cruze launch in the first quarter of this year.”

Those who have good materials and/or production experience are urged to apply. Holden says potential candidates will have to undergo an interview, medical and pass a function capability test at the Holden Assessment Centre to be successful.
